If you're reading this, it's likely you know me. At least, a little. if not, I'm pictured above, right.
This is my second blog, the sequel (if you will) to Cait's Corner--a documentation of my year living in the south of France and my final days at California State University, Chico.
Well, it's been a few years since I walked across the stage as a Wildcat, and things have really changed. I learned a lot in college about crisis management, anonymous sources and dangling participles, but very little about life management and climbing the corporate ladder.
Long story short (too late) the last few years have been a painful process of growing up in an unexpected way. Being stranded in a foreign train station because of an erupting Icelandic volcano pales in comparison to the stress I experience in every day life as a public relations professional.
But it's not just about work. It's about life.
It's about making new friends in a city where a 60 hour work week is the norm and "where should we brunch?!" is a legitimate question.
It's about growing up. Starting with a new blog. La Belle Vie is about the beginning of the rest of my life, moving forward, keeping this is mind:
"Isn't it wonderful to know that some of the best days of our lives haven't happened yet?"
